A FAN HUB MADE BY FANS FOR FELIP

"Always dream high."

From International Collaborations to Awards and the Rise of FLEET: Reasons Why We Think 2025 was FELIP’s Year

Last year unfolded very differently for FELIP compared to previous years. Without a solo EP or album release, his 2025 activities were largely devoted to what he claims is his favorite EP from SB19, Simula at Wakas. But don’t mistake that for FELIP staying out of the spotlight. Alongside major brand campaigns, FELIP reached remarkable career milestones, had back to back viral social media moments, and even took home multiple solo awards by the end of the year.

International Collab Season

The year started with explosive back to back international collaborations, ending January with a fiery Bisaya-English rap verse in “ID,” marking his first rap collaboration with BMSG artists. By February, Valentines came sweet and bouncy with FELIP’s feature in “KAWASAKI” alongside Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT and Vietnamese American singer Thuy.

Moving Closer with Closeup

Since its release in 2023, FELIP’s cover of Never the Strangers’ “Moving Closer” has become one of his biggest hits. In 2025, through Closeup Philippines, FELIP released two new renditions of the beloved classic. “Moving Closer from the Café” offered a sweet, warm jazz vibe, while “Moving Closer from the Lounge” delivered a more lively and cheerful sound.

FELIP also starred in two heart-fluttering music videos alongside two of the Philippines’ biggest love teams, DonBelle and BarDa. Each release was paired with a fan meet-and-greet and a listening party, making the celebrations even more special. To cap off the Moving Closer era, Closeup Philippines powered a special Wish Bus road show on May 18, bringing fans even closer to FELIP.

Before the year ended, FELIP once again engaged fans by inviting everyone to join Closeup Philippines’ TikTok challenge for Closeup Red Hot.

2025 Milestones

2025 started on a sweet note with the introduction of FELIP’s third fandom in January, the Aliens. By February, he reached one of the biggest milestones in his solo career, officially surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify.

Just a few months later, FELIP marked another major breakthrough by opening his own space to connect more closely with fans. On April 23, the FLEET Hub officially opened its doors, bringing him closer than ever to his community.

July kicked off the celebration of 7sins Album’s first anniversary

  • On July 13, Warner Music Philippines celebrated 7sins album’s first anniversary with a special give away for fashionable fans
  • On July 30, “ache,” “greed,” and “wrath,” debuted on USEN OshiRiku Chart
  • On Sept 16, 7sins: The Album Concert Experience was released on Spotify, and “ache” live at the 7sins album concert Manila was released in YouTube
  • On Oct 9, Backspacer Records officially opened the pre-order for the complete line of the official 7sins merchandise, including the 7sins Concert Live on Blu-ray, charm bracelet, fidget ring, cap, zip hoodie, bootleg shirt, and raglan shirt.

In SHOWBREAK 6 EPISODE 4, Ken finished as the Champion at SB19’s first ever Obstacle Course Challenge.

Among the many events in November, these milestones left fans excited and eager for more. In an Instagram post by Carbonzone Unlimited, it was revealed that FELIP’s baby, Indra, was set to make its first-ever appearance at a car show. Just a few days later, FELIP sent fans into a frenzy when he dropped three teaser clips of his unreleased songs through his socials.

FELIP’s Spectacular Performances

Though fewer in number compared to previous years, FELIP’s events and performances in 2025 were nothing short of monumental.

On his 28th birthday, FELIP made history by representing PPOP at D.U.N.K. 2025. The following month, he sat down for an exclusive interview on KUAN ON ONE with host-comedian and fellow Bisaya artist Melai. While preparing for SB19’s comeback, FELIP also flew south to perform for fans at the newly renovated Ayala Center Cebu.

The momentum continued the next month when FELIP amped up the NBA Rising Stars Invitational Philippines Qualifiers Championship, performing his high-energy tracks “envy,” “sloth,” and “foes.” To cap it off, FELIP set the stage on fire at the We Play Here: The Final Act, delivering explosive performances from his album 7sins alongside collaboration tracks with his bisdak brothers, PLAYER TWO.

Social Media Buzz

FELIP sparked social media buzz on multiple occasions throughout 2025. His candid remarks about his practical view on happiness were shared on Klasik Titos and Titas of Manila and Famous Lines, drawing hilarious and relatable reactions from netizens who agreed with his advice.

He also proved why he’s considered one of the most sought-after main dancers in PPOP when his “like Jenny” dance cover went viral and caught the attention of K-pop fans. During SB19’s Simula at Wakas kickoff, Ken made headlines again with a heartfelt gesture for a special fan.

For SB19’s comeback on THE FIRST TAKE, Ken trended on TikTok for his powerful performance of DAM. He then went viral once more at The Filipino Music Awards, where he repeatedly shouted “A’TIN” every time SB19 took the stage to accept an award. The touching moment made the night even more memorable for both the group and their fans.

Bold and Iconic Fashion Statements

2025 was the year FELIP went fully experimental and iconic when it came to fashion. In a fan-captured photo, his freshly done labret piercing made its debut. Just weeks later, he surprised fans again with an eyebrow piercing during SB19’s visit to the DAM Tree.

Fans were thrilled once more when FELIP thanked Nike Sportswear and Nike on Instagram in June. By November, Nike Sportswear made another notable appearance, sponsoring the entire W3 dance crew with Air Max Dn8 for FELIP’s special performance at the NBA Rising Stars Invitational.

Hair transformations were another highlight of the year. FELIP started 2025 with black hair, then went blonde just before the Simula at Wakas tour kicked off. With blonde as his base, Ken didn’t shy away from bold color experiments, pink for Bicol Loco, blue for Binibining Pilipinas 2025, green for HIT FM Taiwan, and orange for Wish Bus USA.

His Instagram fashion portfolio also reached new heights in 2025. From a steamy noodle photoshoot in Binondo Chinatown to cover-worthy shots at the Binondo–Intramuros Bridge, FELIP consistently impressed netizens with his striking fashion presence.

And just when fans thought they’d seen it all, FELIP unveiled his latest statement piece: grillz. He was first spotted wearing them at PLAYER TWO’s HAPPY ACCIDENTS VOL. 2 album launch party, then showed them off again during his explosive performance at We Play Here: The Final Act.

Awards and Recognitions

FELIP may have been on hiatus on his solo releases, but that didn’t stop him from collecting back to back awards and recognitions in 2025:

Now that 2025’s done and dusted, let’s go onward and upward in 2026 FELIP!
