Kanako

In Bisaya, the word “kanako” essentially translates to “me.” When paired with the word “para,” as in “para kanako,” it means “for me”.

Beautifully written in Felip’s native language, “Kanako” is his song of gratitude to everyone who has supported him throughout his difficult journey as a person and as an artist.

Lyrically fast-paced, the song’s story unfolds quickly. Opening with thoughts of being alone and misunderstood, it concludes with the revelation of a new life and hopeful thoughts for the future after having been saved by the people who love and support him.
